- How is the free tier enforced?
- Spok3n counts words you dictate locally. When you hit 5,000 in a rolling 7-day window, dictation pauses until the next week — or you can upgrade to Pro at any time.
- Is my audio ever sent to your servers?
- No. Transcription runs entirely on your Mac via Apple Neural Engine. We only handle account authentication and billing metadata — never audio or transcribed text.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from the account page. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
- Do I need an account to use the free tier?
- You'll sign in with an email so Spok3n can track your weekly word count across installs. We don't email marketing messages.
- Do you offer refunds?
