Spok3n is built around the principle that your voice is yours. All transcription happens entirely on your Mac using WhisperKit and Apple's Neural Engine. Audio is never transmitted to our servers, stored externally, or used for training.
What we collect
- Account email — used only for authentication and sending critical product updates (security, breaking changes).
- App update checks — Spok3n periodically fetches
/api/latest-versionto offer updates. These requests contain no identifying information.
What we don't collect
- Audio recordings.
- Transcribed text.
- Clipboard contents.
- Usage telemetry or analytics events.
